i am FREQUENTLY disgusted by how little people in my life know about emulation. like it's terrible. the first place i usually direct them is here. a longrunning archive of classic games from the atari 2600 to the playstation portable. if you've got a few hours to kill i'd recommend going through here and just playing whatever catches your eye. vimm's lair provides links to various emulators, most of which are very easy to use. if you're confused, a quick google search usually saves you. worst case scenario you have to ask reddit or some other forum, but getting out there and prodding people with your questions is good for you. these people can probably help you, nine times out of ten.
